Hidden Canvas Mural Project

About the Project

The Hidden Canvas Mural Project was created to bring public art to downtown Greenfield that is both attractive to tourists and residents alike in a way that aligned with our mission of encouraging dialogue and promoting community pride, connectivity, and inclusion.

In the first stage of the project, our main goal is to complete a set of murals done by a mix of local and visiting artists funded by donations from businesses and supporters to gauge community interest and create excitement around the project. In the next stage, we plan to engage the community through volunteer mural painting parties and other events.

The first mural in the project is The Inquisitive Crow (pictured above) by Whitney Robbins on 56 Hope Street across from The Hope and Olive Restaurant. Whitney has recently made an addition to the crow on the backside of building that is called the Crow Stack. The second is called Miss Bea by the Window and is located at 60 Hope Street. Our newest mural is Internal Combustion No. 6 by David Zaccheo located at 27 Bank Row. More murals in the works and coming soon!
